Holy Spirit College currently offers three Master's-level graduate degree programs:
The Master of Theological Studies (MTS)
The MTS is an academic degree meant to provide students with a broad understanding of each area of Catholic sacred theology (for example, Scripture, creation, Christology, sacraments, ecclesiology).
The Master of Theology (MTh)
The MTh degree is meant to help students attain a more complete understanding of one specific area of theological inquiry. Graduates are prepared over time to begin academic study at the doctoral level. The MTh includes a language competency requirement and a thesis defense, illustrating the advanced academic nature of this program.
The Master of Religious Education (MRE)
The MRE develops students' knowledge of both education (including classical philosophy, curriculum, pedagogical strategies, etc), and theology. It is intended to for anyone who works with students, either in a school, parish, or home setting. The MRE is offered both fully on campus, and in a hybrid summer-intensive version, with class on campus during the summer and online work during the school year.
